Christmas Fermentation Workshop in Bovey Tracey

Come and join this fun and relaxed workshop to learn all about the time honoured preservation technique of fermentation.. With a Christmas twist you will learn to store food through the winter plus benefit from the many health promoting effects.

This is a hands-on practical course you will get to take home delicious Christmas ferments you have made on the day. You will also learn to make sure you don't waste any food you have grown yourself and can enjoy delicious and nutritious food in the middle of winter.

As a nutritionist I will also discuss the multitude of health benefits of this delicious food as well as exploring the Gut Microbiome and why it is so important to our health. It maybe one of the most important factors in maintaining good physical and mental health. Please bring some jars to fill with delicious nutritious food.

This 2 hour day-time event is in a warm and comfortable workshop space at MAKE Southwest in central Bovey Tracey.

Have a go at making your own fermented food and try out lots of delicious pre-made items.
Cost is £35 per person which includes all ingredients and refreshments - additional dates available
