Come join us at Karma Coop to learn how to make your own herbal balms from scratch - it's gonna be a fun and hands-on experience!About this EventMake Herbal Balms at Karma Coop
Come join us at Karma Co-Op Food Store for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn to create your own herbal balms! In this workshop, we'll discuss the ancient art and science of making salves, explore traditional ingredients and how they "work", then we'll make a balm to suit our purposes: for wounded, and/or rashy, and/or eczemic and/or blistered skin to take home.
You'll leave with an all-purpose balm we've made in class, and the knowledge and know-how to make your own healing balms from nearby herbs and #KarmaFoodCoop ingredients.
Open to all ages. Karma Co-op Members as well as the general public are welcome to sign up and attend. This workshop is part of a year-long series of Anarres workshops for 2024, with different topics on the second Sundays of each month.Reserve your spot and sign up now. Space is limited to 10 participants.
Please wear a mask if we meet indoors so that our workshop is accessible to participants with vulnerabilities.
Note: Tracey will also be conducting a free-to-attend, interactive pop-up "Ask Me Anything... about Herbs for Skincare" after this workshop from noon to 2pm.

Tracey TieF, Certified Natural Health Practitioner:
I am Tracey TieF, the founder and lead instructor at Anarres. Anarres Natural Health's mission is to educate people about natural healthy fairly traded and local botanical ingredients, and how to use these to create affordable, wholesome and effective body care. To this end I offer mini, intro and full-day workshops, Aromatherapy Certification and Apprenticeship, we retail and wholesale healthy, ethical ingredients and products online and in my Anarres Studio. Wholistic health to me does not mean merely the health of our individual minds, bodies and spirits, but also the health of the Earth and all its Beings.
